Life Empowerment Ministries was started out of the desire to see a church in Northern Virginia that was relevant to its culture and community without abandoning the message of the Bible. From this vision has come "Life Empowerment Ministries - Restoring Lives by Empowering People." Our services can be characterized by progressive music, and real-time relevant messages that you will be able to immediately apply to your life.
Life Empowerment Ministries was originally formed humbly with 5 people who had a firm commitment to learn the Word of God. This bible study quickly grew and moved to several locations until finally being installed as a church body on January 28, 2007 at Mountain View High School. LifeEM continues to develop its leadership team and core ministry departments to prepare itself for dynamic growth and ministry.
Since LifeEM’s inception there has been a warm presence of the Lord in our worship services. The Lord has increased our numbers while molding us into a loving community of believers focused on loving Jesus Christ and creating an environment where everybody feels comfortable. This is a church for those of us who love the Lord but never felt comfortable in old school tradition. This is a church for those of us who are more concerned about having a clean heart than making a fashion statement. This is a church where it is okay to be who you are while at the same time allowing God to heal all your wounds. This is a church for the rest of us!
It is our belief that God never intended for us to serve him alone so we look forward to meeting you at one of our worship services.
